Myself Anurag A. Andore. Some hours back, I visited Spectra Motors, Thane(W). I was gone there for the test drive of ZEN ESTILO new model(not for me; but for my uncle).

Torque(Nm@rpm): 90Nm @3500rpm
First of all, I like the way Spectra Motors treated us. The showroom was neat n clean. We were asked for tea or coffee. Then a lady from there answered all the questions of us. She gave a detailed knowledge about the vehicle.
My uncle decided 2 go for lxi model. I gone through the brochure. I found that it has 68PS power. After looking at brochure, I thought can it give satisfaction of the ride?
The demo car was out by that time. The nice lady told us to wait for some time. In the mean-while we had our tea, n we were talking with that lady. We were pulling her leg as she was the owner of Ritz. But she didnt mind it. By the time vehicle came, n we got into it.
Immediately I entered the vehicle, I found its interior were in two colours: beige n brown. I like the combination. The plastic used inside was not good, but also not bad for the car of 4 lac. Seating was bit comfortable, but can carry 5 person of normal size. The legroom for front is good enough.The rare seats were not good enough to carry 3 adults. The only thing I liked was the combination of interior colours, n front seat comfort. The instrument cluster contains digital odometer. 1 thing I found new(might be for me), it has digital display of fuel meter. I found it clever.
Then I started the vehicle. It gave some soundkhar-khar to start. I asked the lady what was that? She replied, its a demo car, Might be the case. I said ok. Then just I pull the car. The engine was responding good. after 3500RPM engine started responding very good; but bit noisy. I dont know why, but there was a good noise inside. Again the answer for my question was same. I said ok. Then I want to check breaking. I found breaking decent. Suspensions were good. Then, the time came to check the real power of the car. I switched on the AC. No doubt cooling was good enough to cool the hot car. Then I tried to pull the car, this time, engine was not responding as it responded before. It was some dis-satisfaction for me. But it happens with every car. I dont know what happened but only after 3500 rpm I could felt some pull.
One more thing I recognized that, the gear shifting was too much smooth. It was like, I could shift gears only with my 2 fingers.lol. But the feel was good.
Even a driver can not see the bonnet. But hardly mattered for me. Coz I m regular user of TATA INDIGO.
Overall, The car is good for city driving. The person who wants to use the car for regular use, n not for the highway use, can go for this car. The company says, it will give mileage of 18.8 kmpl. I guess, the car will deliver atleast 17kmpl.
Some features are good, some are ok; but a single car with price tag of 4 lac cannot have everything.
It was my personal experience. It may differ from person to person. So please any1 dont get angry if I said something wrong.
