I am using 2002 Zen Lx Euro II and driven it for more than 80000 KM. Meet with 3 Major accident, once car was banged into a tree at 100+ KMPH and I spent more than a lakh to repair it. Even after all this it is working fine.
I have taken this car to Rohtang pass on 29th december when it was covered with snow and closed to traffic, and gone to many other places... This is very reliable car.
I upgraded myself to Elantra in 2006, because Zen had no boot space, and in rear it was comfortable only for two people with small leg.
I still have this car, it has good resale value, still gives 15+ mileage, very low maintainance. Many times I have touched 160 KMPH with this car on NH1, My brother in law was not believing me for this, Once he was travelling with me, and once I did 160 KMPH with it, He was shocked, but car is stable only upto 120 KMPH after that it is all risk & luck, You cannot stop it easily, as it is having drum breaks without abs. But I am using it beyond what it is meant to be.
Only con I see is that it has low ground clearance but with improved roads in India & better speed breakers, it has been long since it hit any speed breaker. As this car is no longer in market, I am sure no one will have any question, but if anyone has any, I will love to answer that :)
