Remember Ben Affleck’ s movie with the same name which almost had me with all the reason to hate the character “Daredevil”, well not any more – Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil is exceptional. Credit should go to Netfilx for refurbishing the superhero which turned out to be exceedingly engaging and a well designed plot with D’Onofrio playing the kingpin Fisk was excellent, every episode outperforming its preceding one.
The quality show however fizzles out in the last episode which was a bit of low for an grandeur ending which I was hoping for but never the less – a great show for all the comic fans. What I liked was the tonal change by Marvel, making it more dark like Batman’s ambience, cutting down the funny, get the calculated casting – which worked. This show somehow seamlessly fits into the world created by us and very much emotionally invested.
Finished season 1 in a go and I have nothing but praise for this show and can’t wait for the next. Go for it BLINDLY!
