This happened to me on June 14 2010.
Myself after a brief stay in UK, came to Bangalore for a short visit to my cousin’s wedding. Once I happened to see this “Masalaa Restaurant in Uttarahalli”.{the biggest mistake.}
As I wanted to taste some nice Andhra food, myself and 2 of my friends{all girls- plz note this point} went to this restaurant at around 1 pm.The place was totally empty with some few regulars .The entrance is disappointing. Masalaa is welcomed by a small cigarette shop where I was literally choked by the smoke where it was haunted by 4- 5 rowdys.They were smoking and blowing t he smoke towards the entry, which was very unacceptable.
Later I went to the garden table which is very nice layout. However the agony did not stop there. A middle aged guy came to take our orders. We ordered our food and he said it will take 15 minutes. However even after 30 minutes our food did not come. The worst point is – the guy who took our order was literally starring and was trying to make some shameful actions towards me .It is a very sad part where a guy who works is trying to act cheap. He also was trying to write his phone number in a piece of paper, but I called my friend who stays there .After seeing them these people were in there senses. Another point is these rowdy are also associated to the hotel as I cold notice the waiters jovially looking at us and misbehaving along with the rowdies.
A NO-NO for LADIES AND A VERY CHEAP HOTEL AND NO GREAT FOOD.
