happens to be my favourite movie of all times-It’s an amazing tale of how one mistake can shatter ones future-*
A couple(Nasrudeen Shah, Shabana Azmi) with their two daughters (Urmilla and sorry
don’t remember the other girls name) live in a house…… happy with their
lifeThe fathers job
involves lot of traveling until one fine day, the wife receives news that turns
her neatly organized world upside-down Her husband has fathered an il legal child( Jugal Hansraj) in one night stand. When he had gone to Nanital The mother of that child is now dead And the care
taker of son wants the father to come and take thechild as he is old** Will
she be able to accept the little boy into her home? **She does but every
moment when she looks at her reminds her of her husband’s one night stand and
the hurt he’s given her by doing so **Will her relationship with her
husband ever be the same again or is their marriage also determined to end in a ???-
Well saw this

personal favorite scenes include :*
1) The moment Jugal gets to know who his real
father is
2) Interaction between the three kids and their affection for each other
3) In Sayad Jaffri’s farm seeing Rahul play cricket well, DK can’t resist
boasting of his son and express his feelings This is the scene where DK for
the first time admits and accepts Rahul as his son in public
4) While making a wooden birdie cozy, Rahul cuts his hand and rushes to the
kitchen with blood oozing out of his finger and utters the word ’ *Ma *’
5) When Rahul tells Indu that he knows DK is his father and that he is sorry
Indu is shocked and rushes out of the room and cries her heart out in the
stairs
6) In the end when Mini shows Indu Rahul’s sketch book where he had scratched
off his paintings, as he felt that he is not a part of their family**Well this movie
even has good songs of all times :1 Lakdi Ki Kaathi : I’m sure many of
you’ll agree that once you listen to this song you’ll never forget2 Do Naina ek Khani : Well I love this song as it has a deep meaning to it My all time favourite song:3 Tujhse Naraz nahi Zindagi : Well can’t explain how much I love this song It always takes my tension away and I feel nice listening to this song4 Last but not the least an amazing Gazal: Huzoor is kardar bhiWell
I salute director Shekar Kapur to make a copy of a novel so well
without any flaw Gulzarji for his lyrics of the songs and again RD
