I ordered today from their outlet on Church Street. They always
promise delivery in 30 minutes but I’m used to them showing up late.
Today I waited for an hour before calling them again to check on the
status of the order. I got some guy on the phone who couldn’t
understand what I was saying. He handed the phone to someone else
who said it would take 45 minutes! When I mentioned that I’d ordered
an hour ago he said there was some traffic jam and that the parcel
had just been dispatched. It’s been 2 hours now since I ordered.
They’ve stopped answering the phone! No food yet! Customer service
is just short of amazing! I’ve had some experience with store
managers who’re rude and/or make up lame excuses when they screw up,
but this experience is a first for me.
I like the food though(I wouldn’t have bothered with them
otherwise). The food is pricey and it makes sense paying that only
if you get the appropriate level of service. What I’m getting falls
way short of the mark.
Update: They finally delivered. Took them 2.5 hours to deliver:( The food
is hot(thankfully).
