With thought-provoking songs, and a sexy title like Masti, high expectations in my mind were engrained before I even rolled in the DVD. The movie itself lives upto its name of Masti in majority of the scenes. Perhaps a little too much Masti.
From a witch mother-in-law, to a transformed Hero #0 from Hero #1, it has it all.
My all-time favorite scenes have to be what I call the Kaaaaaaaaaaaantaben scenes(thank you Saif and Kal Ho Na Ho). Those scenes kept the giggling alive even through some rather dull intervals in the middle.
Coming to the plot...I guess it could matter less. This movie was about MASTI(duh!) and not about some long-wretched-every-other-Bollywood-flick(rrright, you get it eh?).
Songs...best part. However, I guess I had developed such great affection for the tunes, it took some fun out when seeing them developed into the movie.
Lesson learned: like the songs of an unreleased movie, shut it off and exercise patience for the movie to release.
Time to sum it up...
Plot: Completely idiotic. Men beware;)
Humor: Uncontrollable
Worth a watch: Sure
Worth a second watch? Certainly.
Worth a third watch? Youre stretching it...
Fourth and beyond? You need a LIFE!
Wait a minute....Im compelled to pen this addendum after seeing the question Watch this movie with.... Watch it with anyone but a date or a spouse...if you do, Masti might be ringing inside your home;)
