Somehow, the second half of the film just cannot keep pace and as the film progresses, it goes into the ridiculously slapstick zone.
The gags start wearing out after a point mainly because of the lack of a story. If only the writers ( Mushtaq Sheikh and Milap) had taken this sex comedy a bit more seriously, they would’ve realized that Suresh Menon’s gay caricature isn’t funny anymore. Or that seeing a veteran like Asrani almost bare-clad under a waterfall is awkward and embarrassing. WHAT TO DO: A feast for Sunny Leone fans, Mastizaade is shocking and scandalous.
