Matheran is a hillstation., and a fabulous picnic spot to visit with your friends and family, and in winter season matherans beauty increases considerably, and winter is the season to go matheran and enjoy the place, it is not sooo far I stay at wadala and i’ve visited matheran several times I have visited matheran with my friends and overall our travelling expenses was 250 per person incliding train tickets, auto from station to matheran and matheran’s entry fees, the place is soooo beautiful and it very big one can never explore matheran in just one or two days you have to spend 3 4 days in matheran to explore it’s beauty it is a very great picnic spot, full of peace mountains, beautiful sceneries etc.
