Matilda's adventures

Matilda, is a representation of those section of people whose abilities are undermined, undervalued, who are naturally curious to learn. she is a child prodigy, gentle mannered who has to deal with hostility from her parents as they discourage and belittle her everywhere and everytime. Her talents are recognised by a teacher who encourages her further by doing everything she can do. Matilda in course of the novel helps the teacher which changes her course of life for better at the end of the novel as there is a saying "kindness begets kindness" .

It also probes how children are witty, curious, engaging too.Her journey is fun-filled, adventurous. It is also a social commentary regarding how institutions are, how they limit the capabilities of children.Mrs Trunchbull , one of the major character, who exerts power, superiority by bullying everyone is taught a lesson at the end, she represents those who rule over the majority who exploit masses.

Traversing with Matilda taught how thinking out of the box, using full brain power can bring you out from extreme conditions.
