Matrix Manipulates Minutes- They Are Fraud

I bought a Matrix sim card on my trip to Hong Kong for 15 days from 3rd March 2013 to 16th March 2013. My Hong Kong Matrix no was +85269810035. I was given a plan with 10 days rental of Rs999, where in I would get 15mins of free usage everyday. Since mine was 15 days travel I was supposed to get charged rental twice (i.e. Rs 999*2).

I was actually happy to get 15 mins free daily, but at the same time was little worried that there can be some catch behind this as the plan was looking very lucrative, but actually things turned to be far more worst than my expectation. I was shocked looking at my bill when I came back from Hong Kong. I recieved a bill of Rs 9949.14/-. The worst part was the bill was first charged to my credit card, the details of which were already taken as a security from me before hand and than I started running after Matrix people to get a copy of my bill. It was a nightmare analysing the itemised bill where I noticed a massive manipulation of minutes used.

On most of the days my usage was well within the free 15mins under my plan, but as per the itemised bill I have exceeded those 15 minutes everyday. One of pattern I noticed on itemised bill was on many days there are multiple calls of about 8 to 12 second within 1 minute. I raised this issue with Matrix officials and the first reaction was do I have call logs as a proof to say that the minutes are incorrect. Absolutely rubbish, I got my bill after 15 days of finishing my travel and these people expect us to maintain call logs.

After I argued and insisted they said they will check with their partners in Hong Kong and get back to me. But none of them got back to me and I again started chasing them. After a long chase of 20days they have sent an email that the details on bill are correct and there are no changes. It is absolutely ridiculous and hard to believe that a telecom operator with such a big name manipulates bills and commits fraud. I strongly feel those days are not far when such players will have to pack their bags and get lost. PEOPLE DON’T GET CARRIED AWAY WITH PLANS WHICH LOOK LUCRATIVE ON FACE OF IT, MATRIX IS ACTUALLY A FRAUD AND MANIPULATING BILLS.

If any of the seniors officials from Matrix are actually taking such reviews seriously and following this comments, please stop such malpractices. Under any circumstances my bill should not be more than Rs 4500/-. Please look into this matter and refund the excess amount charges to my credit card.
