I have recently used Matrix Card (0918084714) while travelling to Thailand. I took this form an agent (Shatabdi Sain) based in Kolkata. This agent soled me this card by saying the charge/min is Rs. 20 and and the rental money will be adjusted to the bill.
However, when I got my bill (MT360056) dated 08-Jul-2013 - I was surprised to see that - charge/per minute is more than double (> Rs. 40) and the rental is not at all adjusted with the bill, rather added in the bill. Matrix did not stop there but automatically took away the bill money from my credit card - and my BANK says this is completely against the RBI guideline, that was passed in 2012.
After this I contacted the agent, she promised me to look into the problem and solve it - as the bill also looks fraud. However, couple of months has passed - with no sign of ’correction’ from your company.
I am contemplating to go to the consumer/civil court against this company and making the agent a party too.
