It is amazing that a company like this is even allowed to function. I have had the misfortune of utilizing their service twice. I travelled to Europe and used their SIMs in Amsterdam, Scotland and UK. Mind you data services were not activated on the Matrix number and I used my Vodafone number for official calls, which comprised of 70% of my calls. To my utter surprise, the bill that was sent to me had tariff charges way beyond the communicated charges and the bill was twice that of my Vodafone Bill! I immediately wrote to their customer care division and the next thing I know is that my security cheque was banked without my consent. They continue to send me a bill every month and keep adding Rs. 100 as late payment charges each month!
In the second instance, I traveled to Bangkok for official purposes and was handed a Matrix Data card by company. The data card malfunctioned and I spent close to 4 hours on an international call with their technical team at Delhi to solve the problem but to no avail. Imagine the cheek of the company to then go ahead and debit my company account towards data card usage charges. Their customer care division has the most uncouth baboons working for them.
Goverment of India and TRAI should immediately suspend the license of this completely unprofessional and cheat of a company.
