Unfortunate victim of Matrix. used in US for 2 months.
fortunately deposited a security cheque of Rs 10, 000/-. only and didnt give my credit crd no. though when I returned the sim I was expecting a return of around 5-6k. After waiting for 1 month for a reply from company I was surprised to know that I have to deposit 37000/- more.
- I hardly used this no. as I knew this gonna cost me fortune, I have always been using google calling as in US google to cellular calling is free, then also I have this bill.
2.even if I used this service to such an extent, then why didn’t they intimate me that my security is over now and either I will be over billed or my connection will be terminated?
- how come they can trace my add. and details now when they want the money from me, how come everyday I was getting emails from them when they were trying to sell me this cellular service and why couldn’t they do it when they were overbilling me?
when I checked the review here surprised to know that its not only me there are thousands of victims here.
suggestions for newbees.
don’t fall in trap of Matrix, its not worth.
if planning US travel. as soon as you reach there immediately step in any nearby T mobile shop or any other and they will be happy to give u a cell in$15 and sim loaded with$30 in total$75.without any paper or document with data uses and many more facilities. number will start working at the same time. u can also get some scheme for India calling there.(this was the plan when I was there and regret to this day why I took matrix)
more over US companies can’t cheat you because of very strong federal laws there.
3.in the mean time you buy a new No. you can use your regular Indian cell on International roaming which wont cost you rs500 something which is a better option then fallin in trap of Matrix.
