I recently travelled to a foreign country with MATRIX POSTPAID.
When I returned I was slapped a bill of more than Rs. 10000! Whats worse, my AMEX was simply charged for it(they had taken a copy of the card and seemingly AMEX is also a bunch of idiots . they have allowed certain merchants to charge amex with simply the card number . have to write another review for Amex!)
On analysing the bill, I found that there were wrong entries amounting to Rs. 8, 000/-. But when I spoke to these customer care guys, all they have been doing is giving me complaint reference numbers, thats it!
Cheats! Bunch of thieves!
Having said that, my strong recommendation is that whenever travels abroad, better to carry a PREPAID SIM. That is the best way of avoiding these kind of situations. Also, whatever documents you give, do NOT give copy of credit card. Nowadays banking systems have become very complicated and many merchants have parallel arrangements with banks.
So take a PREPAID SIM and enjoy!
