If you are traveling abroad and a salesperson from Matrix approaches you at the airport with an offer of a mobile phone package at the country you are visiting . run for cover!
Instead, buy a prepaid card at the aiport you are landing and save yourself the heartache or rather the shock of a bill from Matrix. More often than not they would have swiped your credit card with the amount by the time you realise the pit you have fallen into. And their response to your grievance will be templated answers and meanwhile you can kiss your money goodbye.
Please warn every friend of yours(your enemies too!) about Matrix! I was scammed by a Matrix salesperson at the airport, only to discover that the telecom companies in the country I visited was offering data packages for a fraction of Matrix’s package.
However, since I had signed up with Matrix, I continued to use their sim card. I overran the data allotted by some 700 and received an invoice of Rupees 22, 000 for the excess data usage! Sending data to Mars will not cost this much!
