Matrix SIM card for overseas traveller

I never experienced a more pathetic service provider then Matrix. They are awful. NEVER EVER USE THEIR SIM CARD WHILE TRAVELLING ABROAD.

This is what my own experience is when I used their sim card while in USA for three months.

(This is outrageous. Other vendors like Airtel homecall or Reliance passport offer 3 cents per minute rate for US call to India and you have charged me almost a dollar per minute.

My fault is I did not go through the tariff agreement before using your cell phone. However you should have had some built in mechanism wherein I would have received an alert for surpassing a threshold charge of Rs 10, 000 bill, after which I could have been more conservative.

I am really disappointed with this whole thing and regret the decision of traveling with Matrix SIM in USA. I would ensure, collaborating with logistic team that no one from my company avails your services for making overseas business travel. This is simply not worth it.

Hope you would take notice of my stand.

Below is another bad experience from one of my friends.

(i had a devastating experience using Matrix Sim card, (which is the local Sim card from Mauritius)

I could have picked up the same Sim card from Mauritius, the document that they require is just your passport copy, and no advance payment needed nor any security deposit.

If I had picked up the same Sim card in Mauritius, the local calls are charged at 0.40 Mauritian Rupee and calls to India will be charged at 4.00 Mauritian Rupees, for which YOU CHARGED 62.00 INR PER MINUTE. ITS AN EASIER WAY TO ROB PEOPLE LEGALLY. isn’t it??

i will spread the message with my friends and try to make people aware that you are cheating people big time.

Guys, don’t ever pick up a SIM from MATRIX, they rob you so easily, that you cant even complain.. they block your credit card initially itself and charge you exorbitantly high. they just provide you the local sim card of the place of your travel and say its a Matrix Sim card!! you wouldn’t be aware, and realise it later when you are at the destination.

even I was told that it is Matrix Sim and later I realised that it was a Mauritian local Sim and these ppl charged me 62 INR per minute to call India, where as I could have made calls with the local SIM with just 6.00 INR, they charge you 10 times higher and say that they charge you 85% lesser roaming charges,

Roaming? its a local Sim card :p

BE CAREFUL AND SPREAD THE MESSAGE PLEASE, SO THAT NOT MANY PEOPLE ARE CHEATED BY THESE GUYS. )
