When I heard that the matrix reloaded has released it was a very tough task for me wait for the movie to release in my country.Finally the day arrived when I was really going to watch THE MATRIX.The movie which everyone had been talking about for the past one year.The movie the trailors of which had made every hardcore action lovers go crazy.The sequel to one of the best hollywood movies I have ever seen.But it did not turn out to be that good an experience.I dont understand that if the makers of the movie had no story why did they have to make the movie for the heck of making it.
It was like watching a show of saturday night RAW where everyone just comes and starts fighting.The only difference was that the MATRIX is more high tech and it involves a few scenes where people talk things that are so sophisticated that the audience are totally confused as to what is happening.
The Action scenes
Undoubtedly the action scenes were some of the best that any kind of cinema has ever seen but one fails to understand the reason of them being there.
Unreality
The story is probably unreal (probably because I dont know whether I am free or living in a matrix) but the level of unreality shown in this movie is crossing the limit.Whenever the hero feels like he will go for a ride in his super man way without any reference as to why he is the only one who can do that whereas poor Trinity has to settle for a stolen bike.
The Boring Part
As I have mentioned the action scenes were good but would have been much better if they were a bit shorter and more clear.Every scene was prolonged to such a extent that a person will start feeling bored of the same sequence going on and on.I also failed to understand that if Keanu Reaves had the ability to fly why didnt he do so in the first place when Smith attacked him.Only after a painfully long fight(for the audience) with over a hundred agents did he realise that he can fly.
Many parts in the movie were extremely confusing and left the people thinking over and over again.And to add to the wounds the movie was not concluded and ended with a message
’’to be concluded’’ leaving the people totally disappointed.
The Matrix will definitely be liked by the people who watch a movie just for the fight scenes and the flying cars but if you are not that kind of a guy please dont make the mistake of watching this movie.
