The old Charm of MTR doesn’t exist anymore. I happened to take my family out for Dinner there. After a really long wait (Despite reservations) you are seated in the dinning hall and again made to wait for another 15 min before the food comes in. Servers are not courteous at all. Water was served only after repeated request.
Even dogs wouldn’t have eaten the papads served there. Juice had lot of colour in it. The only items fairly edible were Dosas and Bisi Bele Bath. Overall the experience was really bad.
It has become a custom there to make the customer wait. This will irritate anyone who values time.
Most of us when we go to restaurants would want a bit of personal attention. This is like a marriage hall where food is served to guests who are supposed to eat and leave.
Cleanliness is still maintained on the cutlery. Clothes servers wear and the seating area and area where the food is kept is pretty dirty.
