Max Hospital - Yet Another Sham #MoneyMintingAsses

Max Hospital, Sector - 19, is just another money laundering hospital. Sticking by the standards for upgrades & having no standards when it comes to customer care & hygiene.

My father has being diagnosed with UTI(Urinary Track Infection) & is made to share a room with two other patients in a twin-sharing room, AGAINST his will. As you may be aware, when suffering from UTI, water is a must & wash room hygiene is a super must.

However, as the twin-room is being shared by the triple, there are considerably more no. of people using the wash room. Hence, the wash room is always in a bad condition. I, even as a visitor, do not wish to use it & my father has personally flushed other people’s faeces as the wash room’s flush is not working properly. To top it, the engineer who came to fix it(Mr. Amit Kumar) says its absolutely fine, when the fact is water flow is minimum & it flushes only after a minute or two.

When I asked for a room upgrade, I was informed that Max has to follow the protocol & the insurance taken - ICICI, does not cover a single room. When we offered to pay for a day, we were informed by the Insurance guy present that ICICI will decline the entire claim.

However, when I questioned, if you are so particular about following protocols, then why are there 3 beds in a twin-sharing facility, the admin manager(Kamya Punjabi) very rudely gave lame excuses saying we ask the patients(neither of the 3 patients in the room were asked for their permissions).

When I said, even if you have a three beds in a double occupancy room, considering my father has UTI, he should not have been in that room, she mentioned that doctors are supposed to give directives if a patient has UTI to ensure minimal occupancy of the room allocated to them. When I asked that this means the doctors are at fault, she said the staff should have confirmed. Basically, she just kept giving round & round answers.

The other thing to be noted is we requested for an early discharge in that case as nobody has the answer on "Why is he being kept at the hospital." Apparently we await a culture test & the report of the same will be available tomorrow 9PM, however, the doctor’s directive are for discharge tomorrow morning. Why I may ask? So he can use the disgusting washroom & take extra time to heal?

I am extremely disappointed with Max & they lack both customer care & hygiene. This is nothing but sheer harassment.
