Like to keep it very short.I had one policy - "Whole Life Participating" from Max NewYork Life Insurance in 2004. Since it s a whole life policy never bothered to look back. Its recently when I bought one more policy - Retirement Plan I noticed my date of birth was wrongly mentioned in the policy. Immediately I brought it to their notice & applied for correction in date of birth.I was asked to submit the original policy hard copy along with application letter which I did.
After 15-20 days days I got sms mentioning that original policy after duly corrected date of birth was despatched. When I didnt receive the same in 7-8 days in contacted executives of Max NewYork & informed him.I was assured that they will check & will send me again iof I didnt receive it in next few days.
However when I didnt receive the same after 15 - 20 days I informed him again & also sent them e mail informing every details. But I didnt get any reply of my e mail.I sent reminder 3/4 times & to my utter disbelief I have not got any reply from them. Every time I call their executive I was assured that I will get but when even they cant inform where is the problem. If this is the example of service in a simple small matter just imagine what will be their vtrue colour when some big problem will happen.Therefore its my advise pls stay away from this company - DONT BUY ANYTHING from MAX NEWYORK LIFE.
