I would like to keep this short. My Dad bought me 2 life insurance policies of Max New York Life limited. They had just set-up base in India and offered good schemes for Indian Individuals. This is my 6th year with them I think, I can remember because, they never send me any of my documents on time, except for the renewal premium.
Be it mailing their customer service or calling them up, or logging into their system, None of it will prove helpful, because nothing works!. I mailed them with a query, and they don’t even put my name right in the reply mail (it is not auto generated!).
May be it is happening only to me or its just that they don’t really care. My recommendation is to stick to any Pure Indian Insurance Company, like LIC or SBI for life insurance May be they have lower service levels, but that is something you expect. But in this case, an MNC like Max New York Life, Sucks big time. Post premium payments they forget their customers. They only want payments on time. I do understand many of you are insure with them and may be happy, I guess your just lucky or you may have paid a bigger premium.
New customers, please stay away, I am being honest, Both my policy numbers begin with 24454
