PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY.
I have been dealing with different kind insurance companies from last few years so have some good knowledge how it works.
this time YESBANK where in I have an account offered me a policy and actually I was never ever ineterested in this pathetic company however as the seller was good friend of mine, so he was able to convince me to buy a policy.
HERE THE STORY GOES:
I was told the lock in period is 5 years but when I got the verification and seems like the guy was in hurry and tried to make me a fool, however he was dealing with a smart customer this time. he said the Lock in period is 10 years. I didn’t want 10 years and asked him to cancel the policy now next day I got another call so I think max was trying to cheat me again. but I asked him to cancel and I hung up.
Then my banker called me and said unfortunately there isn’t any 5years of locking period but now they can offer me 8years I was still not interested. but okay he was my friend I said Yes to him, I recvd. my policy after few days and it was for 10 years. I called their pathetic customer service idiots who dont even speak english well and showed me attitude, and then later a HUNGUP.
called again but hungup. called again asked for a damn manager but it took 30 mins to get a damn supervisor and then again HUNGUP. then later on a manager called me( I dont know whether he was really a manager or not) but was very rude and arrogant. I asked him to cancel the policy and again I was shown attitude.
Well after all I went to MAX branch in NEW DELHI and asked to cancel it.
GUYS, ITS A FRAUD COMPANY NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM MAX EVEN IF ITS AN ATTRACTIVE OFFER OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE IN HELL - TRUST ME.
FORTUNATELY MY POLICY WAS IN FREELOOK PERIOD. OTHERWISE IT WOULD BEEN A BIG MESS. I would have kicked these people if they wouldn’t have canceled my policy.
