I have deposited 2 lakhs in this life insurance scheme. As a foreigner and new to these products in India, I trusted the guy at Axis bank that it was going to be a flexible scheme. Now I am learning I should put another 2 lakhs in, and if I want to withdraw after 2nd years. I will only get 30% back. So basically, agree to lose the money on this one! Is there a consumer court or something in this country one can go to? I know I signed up for this, but man. I thought I read the small print. But obviously not carefully enough!
NEVER, EVER be talked into something of the sort. This is plain daylight robbery. This money is for my son’s education. And the people who have contributed in making me lose it. well, there is something called Karma, isn’t there?
