Hi All, my father got admitted in Max Patparganj on 25th Jan, 2019 around 2.00PM with the complaints of Fever, Lot of cough and shortness of breath. They admitted him in emergency and done tests for the whole day. In the evening they said his lungs x-ray reports are not good. They shifted him to ICU with a complaint of pneumonia and oxygen support. On 26th Jan morning we met one doc in ICU he said he is fine and in the evening he used same statement. But we were having some doubts and on the same day around 10.00PM we met one lady doctor and she said no improvement since he got admitted and this is almost the case of SWINE FLU as reports will come by noon on 27th Jan.(That was the right review we got after 30 Hours) BIG NEGLIGENCE.
2 different opinions of 2 DOCS that too of same team.
So on 27th JAN, Sunday in the morning again that stupid junior doc said he is fine and after lunch we got a call from ICU for the meeting. They said his lungs are not working properly not able to breathe on his own and his swine flu was also positive, it was the case of SWINE FLU+ SEVERE ARDS, so the only treatment left is he need to be on prone therapy or we can say ventilation therapy. They informed us around 4 and we signed all the required docs and he shifted to isolated room 1 in ICU on 9th Floor. No senior doc was there he should have taken the responsibility to meet the family and informed them about the criticality of the case. But no senior doc was there we met him on Monday 28th Jan morning. At the time of signing papers doc said survival rate of this therapy is 80 to 90%. We said to go head and they shifted him to isolation room around 9.00PM. The negligence was no senior doc was there to inform us about the case. Then on Monday morning we met senior doc he said success rate of this therapy is 80 to 90% and please pray for him. Then on Monday late night around 12.00 AM they changed the position. And Tuesday morning 29th Jan they said it’s too early to say anything and same day when we visited the ICU in the evening doc said therapy is successful he is improving and the plus point was his other organs was working fine. They were not affected. They have started the weaning process(Ventilator removing process) so on Wednesday and Thursday 30 and 31st Jan he was improving they said on Friday we will remove the ventilation today. But we don’t know what they have done to him. They said he got more infection that done some bronchoscopy.
Guys first time I saw ICU like this where SHOES ARE ALLOWED. Even the visitors, docs and attendants all are in shoes so because of this there is a maximum possibility of patient who is already infected will get more infections. Hell with their arrangements. They are the money making machines.
on 1st Feb his heart got affected and he got the cardiac arrest and they revived him thru shock therapy. Again he got very critical.
and on 2nd Feb late night around 10.00 AM he again got cardiac arrest and doc said now his kidneys are not functioning properly he need dialysis. Then we took decision not to go for dialysis as 2 times he got cardiac arrest they have revived him twice thru shock therapy. and by even on 4th Feb morning they have not released him because his heart beat was little there because of ventilator and on 5th of feb we got a call at 5.00 am that he passed away.
Never ever during that 11 days duration the senior doc came to us and informed us about the case. Never got the satisfactory replies from any of their docs. What they need is to deposit their money.
The kind of statements doctors used from senior to junior under guidance of their senior pulmonologist Mr Praveen Pandey
1(HUMNE TO SAB KAR DIYA HAI AB INKI BODY RESPOND NAHI KAR RAHI)
2(MEIN YEH BHI NAHI KAHUNGA KI YEH CRITICAL NAHI HAI MEIN YEH BHI NAHI KAHUNGA KI YEH IMPROVE NAHI KAR AHE BAS BHAGWAN SE PRAY KIJIYE)
3(VERY CASUAL ONE OF THEIR SENIOR DOCS MR AMITABH WAS LEAVING FOR THE DAY AND HE SAID WAISE TO INKE HEART PAR AFFECT NAHI AANA CHAHIYE THA. HELL WITH THEIR MANIPULATED STATEMENTS AND STUPID DOC TEAM.
NEGLIGENCE TO THA OR BAHUT SOLID THA.
