Maximum city is the book which exposes us to various activities going on in mumbai though never effecting our life.It takes us to life of few individual about whom we always wish to know like a film star, a bar dancer, a shooter, a political activist etc.
The only minus point is it way too negative about mumbai and life here.After living few year in mumbai I will not deny that not everything is good here but it is not as bad described by author.
will recommend for real life anecdotes by author’s encounter with various persons in mumbai. Its an interesting read indeed.
