MCDonald’s is probably one of the most popular places for us to go as a family. The food is decent, if you get it at certain times of the day (early breakfasts and lunches are GREAT!) and if you get food items specially made to your order. Otherwise you take the chance of getting soggy fries and over cooked hamburgers and chicken :o( The staff ambience usually depends on how busy/stressed they are and where you go, but for the most part they seem to be nice. Restaurants are usually clean with the obvious exception of peak business times where employees have to concentrate on serving customers more. I really love their milkshakes (especially the special flavor ones-mint around St. Patricks Day and eggnog around Christmas), among other various items on their dessert menu. Oh, and their cappucino and hot chocolate-PERFECT for a chilly winter’s day here! Delicious! I’m kinda cautious of the chicken nuggets though-personal reasons ;o)
In general, getting good food and service depends on the restaurant itself and the time of day you go, like with any fast food restaurant like this. The McDonalds that have the HUGE play areas for kids are a big plus for me and my 2 toddlers! Good place to go for a relatively cheap and easy meal if you don’t feel like cooking! Thumbs up!
