I don’t believe there are too many people in the world who would not recognized these arches. Heck, it one of the first signs our children recognize. How many of you have been driving down the road and heard ’’McDee’s’’ uttered from those sweet little baby lips? Yup, and I know many of you have turned around and gone under those golden arches to get those golden fries for your sweet little tyke.
CONSISTENCY:
Well, each McDonalds is a separate store and each can run from great to really awful. The three in my area that I frequent are each vastly different. I know at one to always, always double check my order, another seems to never have hot fries and is usually out of something, like ketchup or Sprite.
Menu:
Well, ya got your burgers, errr, I mean McBurgers. Let’s see...
Hamburger-your basic burger-ketchup, lettuce, onion & pickles for $.69
Cheeseburger-Basic burger + cheese for $.79.
Double Cheeseburger-Do I really need to explain this one?
Quarter Pounder-A quarter lb. of meat, lettuce, onion, pickles & mayo. A steal for $1.75 for about .50 more you can add cheese.
Big Mac-Huge burger, extra piece of bun in the middle with special sauce. This runs about $2.75 or so.
Chicken:
McChicken-fried chicken with lettuce, tomatoe & mayo on a bun. $2.75 I think is the price.
Grilled McChicken-same as above only chicken is grilled.
Chicken McNuggets-small fried boneless pieces of chicken. Comes for sell in 6, 9, or 20 pieces with your choice of sauce. B-B-Q, Sweet & Sour, Hot Mustard or Honey. This runs anywhere from $1.75 to $5.99.
Happy Meal:
This is a children’s meal you can get with a hamburger, cheeseburger or 4 McNugget’s. This meal comes with small fries, drink and the most important, a toy. These meals run from $1.99 to $2.25.
McDonald’s also serves a breakfast menu for those of you up early enough. These are fairly basic, biscuits with bacon & eggs or ham & eggs. Pancakes, sausage, muffins, hashbrowns, coffee & juice.
Also served are several types of salads and desserts. This is not the best place to eat if you are on a diet.
McDonald’s is great for a quick, inexpensive meal.
