McDonalds spends millions on advertising and the hype seems to bring them in droves. That clown Ronald knows how to rake in the big bucks with some fairly mediocre products.
I have to admit I believe McDonalds French Fries are the best in the fast food business. That is, if they are made fresh and havent been sitting around under those dreaded lights. You must eat them hot or they do loose their flavor.
Of course, each McDonalds is different and the quality may vary. I have noticed in larger urban areas the food seems to be prepared hours before serving and the sandwiches are sloppily made. Avoid the Big Mac in these establishments! The burgers are rubbery and bland. The staff are most mechanical and not very friendly.
McDonalds in suburban areas tend to be a bit better and the food seems fresher. The staff are mostly teens and are friendly and fast. I have also noticed senior adults and handicapped individuals working hard to make my experience a pleasurable one. My hat goes off to McDonalds for having the gumption to hire these wonderful people. Unfortunately, they pay them a meager wage!
Ronald has my children addicted to Happy Meals more so for the toy than the food. The prices are reasonable and McDonalds often has a specialty sandwich on sale. I prefer a sit down restaurant but McDonalds can be a nice place to grab a quick meal or take the family out for a fun meal.
Many McDonalds offer a play area for the children which is a plus.
