THE GOLDEN ARCH'S

You can spot MacDonald’s from a mile away because of the two golden arches on their roof.

I bet you think that in all Countries the menu is the same like burgers, french fries, soda pop, milk shakes, pastries and breakfast foods.

You would be wrong because in Hawaii there was a Japanese Miso Soup, in Holland the fries are served with mayonnaise not ketchup.

In Israel the meat is kosher, (butchered according to Jewish Laws and in Canada and England you have a choice of vinegar or ketchup with your chips.

Even at Disneyland the menu is quite different and this is the menu I am going to show you:

The Lunch and Dinner Menu are as Follows

Dino Sized Cheeseburger: This is served with McDonald’s Fries for $5.89.

Hot Dogosaurus: The hot dog is served with McDonald’s Fries for $5.49.

Prehistoric Chicken Salad: This is served with Grapes and cost $5.99.

10 McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets: it is served with McDonald’s Fries for $ 5.49

McDonalds Happy Meal: This include 4 McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets, McDonald’s Fries, and a Child sized Beverage and a Toy. The cost for all of this is $3.49.

A Turkey Wrapptor Sandwich: This is a roll up burrito. It has Turkey, bacon, lettuce, cheese, and tomato, it is wrapped in a tortilla and it costs $6.29’’.

My Thoughts

You might have heard that you should boycott MacDonald’s because all their beef was made from cattle that grazed the poor country of Haiti. That was true once but it isn’t any longer.

You might think that you are addicted to MacDonald french fries, (like I am). You are if you need a MacDonald’s chips fix once a week. Do you know why?

I do! They break down the 2 million pounds of potatoes they use each day and remix it with sugar before they reshape it to look like a french fry.

I like the fact that they now use pure vegetable oil when they fry things. They serve low calorie muffins and have charts that show the nutritional content of each item on their menu.

MacDonald & Charities

I would like to tell you about a few nice things that MacDonald does.

That cute clown shown in many ads is Ronnie MacDonald and he is the mascot of Ronnie MacDonald’s houses. These homes are found in many cities to help families from out of town who have a child in a hospital, (and they cannot pay for a hotel room).

If you are watching the Olympics they are the sponsors of our Canadian Hockey Team. They sponsor sports events around the World.

My Conclusion

Do I go to MacDonald’s? Yes I go often.
