For a foodie like me, living in Aundh in Pune is terrible, especially after having lived in a Foodie’s paradise like South Mumbai for the past six years. But I haven’t given up and roam around searching for new places and I’ve just visited the newly opened McDonald’s in Aundh in Pune.
There were a couple of Pizza restaurants in Aundh and the arrival of McDonald’s is really welcome. It’s on the road connecting DP Road to the Mumbai Road over the old Aundh Bridge on the river Mula - near the place where the Volvo buses to Mumbai stop opposite Convergys.
It’s probably the best McDonald’s in Pune. Convenient location, excellent ambience, good hygiene and prompt courteous service - and of course the standard McDonald menu and cuisine comprising burgers, wraps, fries, desserts and colas. The place is cheerful and vibrant with the young IT techies who stay around.
The drive in counter service is very convenient to pick up stuff on your way home from work. The drive in service is real fast and you can zoom away quickly with your favourite burger or wrap. The location is ideal - it’s on the way home from work.
I’m sure the place will be an all time hit with the Aundhites!
