MCDONALD: Eat Smart, Be Active REALLY..!!

Hi Friends.

It was in news recently ’’McDONALD?S is scrapping supersize portions amid claims they make customers fat’’.

Reading this news makes me happy, at least big JUNK FOOD sellers have started to realize this fact that they cant go on selling unhealthy food to people. At least after so much of protest, and lawsuit.

Having junk food results in obesity, high cholesterol, BP, heart problems, constipation etc...

COLA has been catalyst to the whole mess. Having cola drinks reduce calcium, weak bones, stomach problems, Gastritis etc..

Chains like MCDONALD sells both...!!

Junk food has always attracted people from all age groups. The severely affected ones have been children.

Just be scrapping supersize portion the problem cannot be addressed?!

There are many things need to be done by which we can improve?

We should have statuary warnings on these items which clearly state that having this kind of food can damage health...like we have on cigarettes..

Instead of Aerated Cola drinks, they should encourage fresh fruit drinks , packed fruit drinks or at least pain water..!!

Should introduce more of stuff which have roughage, like salads, fruit basket etc..

Should use less of cheese and flour.

Stress more on raw and fresh items rather than packed and processed food.

There are innumerous ways by which things can be improved?but it is the people like us who need to demand them?We are the consumers and big companies work on the principle of demand and supply..if we demand healthy food?we will get it?or if we demand unhealthy stuff?.we will get that too?the choice is ours..!(:

Thanks

saurabh
