JAY SEAN, is a 24 years old british-born asian from Hounslow, who left medical school in summer 2003 to join his music career.He grew up listening to a diverse range of artist from traditional bollywood artists to R & B singers like Donnell Jones, Boyz II Men, Musiq Soulehild.Jay also developed an intense passion for HIP-HOP, becoming more & more inspired by the lyrical skills of Netorious BIG, Fu-Shnickens, grand puba, mobb deep etc.........

At the age of 15, jay became one half of hip-hop duo cumpulsive disorder, going with the name of MC Nickey J & developing his double time raps skills.Around christmas 2002, Jay’s demo ’’one-minute’’ made’s it’s way to Rishi Rich’s studio, within a few days Rishi rich decided to include Jay in his debut Rishi Rich Project Record.Then the critically acclaimed debut single ’’Dance with you’’ (nachna tere naal) feat Juggy D was released in september 2003, which reached at 12th psition in U.K. charts.Jay’s real name is kamaljit jhooti. he discloses his real name in his solo album me against myself.

Jay went to posh private boyd school.He was one of the brightest boys in his class with 10-A’s at GCSE.He won a special place at London’s top medical school.If he would’nt have been a singer, he would have been a doctor ’’Dr.KAMALJIT JHOOTI’’. He never took singing lessons, he was blessed with it!!

He likes making videos.And in his first video ’’Dance with you’’ he had all his friends with him including his brother Naroop.
