Trust me it is really not a good feeling to give this feedback.Hope this feedback will be taken positively.
Your senior consultant, Dr. Jyoti Wadhwa, is serving as a practitioner for a very severe disease - Cancer, but then she lacks human touch. She has NO RESPECT for the patients as well as patients’ families.
She must be possessing good knowledge but then she doesn’t know the way to talk to human beings especially the ones suffering from this severe disease. We always use the word "Cancer Care" but there is nothing like "Care" in the way she approaches patients. In fact I doubt if she even possesses any knowledge.All we noticed was that she keeps sitting online googling the disease. Who wants to go to a doctor who doesn’t use his/her brain but takes google support to diagnose a problem!
please note that we spend a lot of money on our treatments - Plus for every appointment we pay heavily to your doctors, so doctors are bound to answer the queries in a normal way.
Dr. Jyoti even has a problem in doing this. I fail to understand who suggested her to become a doctor. She is not fit to be a doctor from not even 1 angle. Me and my family had faced so many instances where we kept asking her queries and Dr. Jyoti kept replying in Technical terms. Doesn’t she understand that she is a doctor and that WE ARE NOT DOCTORS. Cant she understand that she cannot use her technical terms while explaining things to patients and their families. And if we ask her again, she reacts in an impolite manner.
We decided to leave Medanta seeing the pathetic behavior of Dr.Jyoti. It is sad to see a so called well educated Senior oncologist behaves like this. There are other doctors who are polite and atleast have "personal touch" which is unknown
to Dr. jyoti.
Please note that we were not the only one to face such issues. We spoke to a lot of ppl in the waiting area lobby who had issues with her.
