Music Album ''Pt Ravi Shankar's Meera''

Hello People Thanks for reading & rating my reviews on Sony Cellphone. Today I bought a new audio cassette titled ’’Pandit Ravi Shankar’s Meera’’ and after listening to it for over an hour or so, I am writing its review. Actually I’m very fond of music but only few albums excite me.

Before this, I bought ’’Raaz’’ after watching the movie, I like its songs very much, they are quite hummable. But since few days, I’m tired of rewinding all its songs again & again since I travel 60 kms up and down everyday from my home to my french institute. I saw the trailors of ’’Meera’’ coming on ’’ETC’’, with a very unique and different voice, the videos are also very unique in comparison to all the other film songs airing. The newly wedded bahu in dark Red Sari excited me to take a look at it. Now as I’m watching the cover of my cassette, it contains total 10 songs, all composed by Maestro Ravi Shankar, as you know he is also a recipient of Bharat Ratna and a winner of Grammy award. No dont think, I’m a classical music lover, no I’m not, actually I just wanted to know his work and to hear his memorable music. Yes, after having heard, I can say that this cassette is WORTH a BUY and its video is WORTH a DEKKHO. The song ’’Ranaji Main To Govind..’’ is simply very very melodius and haunting. It fills your soul with an emotional content towards Lord Krishna, you can’t simply ignore it.

All the Lyrics of the Album are written by ’’Meerabai’’. Other Song, which is the first song of the cassette is ’’Mere To Girdhar Gopal...’’ is also very soothing to heart, it takes over your senses and you try to humm... along with it. As you hear the music, you’ll learn of Pt Ravi Shankar’s devoution towards Indian values and culture. A note to all Foreigners who I think will appreciate this album more than our native Indians, I’m sorry I’ve to write this bcause recently at a cultural concert at Siri Fort, Delhi, I saw more foreigners enjoying than Indians : If you want to know how rich Indian culture is, buy this Great album by Bharat Ratna recipient ’’Pt Ravi Shankar’s Meera’’.

Another noticable song of this album is ’’Karna Fakiri Phir’’, a very good piece of music. Now as I’m writing this review, I hear the song ’’Kehdo Naa You are my Soniya’’ from my cousins room, what a piece of crap that song in front of this. The Last song or can say is an Instrumental Tribute to Father of India ’’Mahatma Gandhi’’. Thats also very nice. Anyways In my opinion I think that this cassette is better than than Latest lot and I appeal to all the members and visitors to buy this casette worth only Rs 55, even less compare to a Pan Pizza. In 55 Rs you can enter into a Maestro’s world. I’m sorry for being harsh towards ’’Soniya’’ song from K3G, I wonder how I once loved this song so much. Bye Regards Rohit Bajaj
