Meesho is a platform where there are three parties in entire sales cycle. One is a Meesho who owns the application and publish the products. Second is reseller who takes the products from Meesho platform and share on Whatsapp or facebook or any other platform to make his/her sale. Third is the Customer who actually but the product and pays the money. All three people make work to generate the sale. In this entire sales cycle there is also a fourth party who is a Seller who actually make/trade/make the products available anc actually ship the product.
Meesho takes away their commission, reseller takes away his margin and customer gets the product. But Seller role is been driven by Meesho as there is a constant pressure on reduction of prices and yet to maintain the quality, Meesho charges good commission and futher distribute to resellers or int promotional activities. Would this commission if get reduced to some extent the quality of product reach to customer and only genuine sellers survive.
For sellers, Meesho should enable visibility on what is selling and what is the status of dispatched parcels, as on date sellers have hardly any clue on their profit, The reporting system is not good at present and sellers are living in hope that someday Meesho will think for them. If Meesho continue to ignore sellers, the day come soon when seller started offboarding them because no of profitable sales matter then the no. of orders.
I hope Meesho top people look at this, I sent many mails before but always been ignored. They behave like stuburn to me, even they do not listen to their account managers assigned to seller as quoted by my account manager.
Hope this will enlighten people to look at the fourth important person in this sales cycle because everyone makes profit except the seller. This is a good platform, and scope of improvement is high and now.
