I thought this was going to be a stupid movie not really worth watching. Boy, was I wrong! I loved this movie. I laughed so hard that I had to add it to my video collection. Greg Focker, played by Ben Stiller, made the perfect idiot. Focker wants to ask his girlfriend Pam (played by Teri Polo) to marry him. He attempts to propose to her at work but, when Murphy’s Law takes over, realizes that he has to ask her father first. He agrees to a weekend at her parents house where he meets her father, ex-CIA agent, cat lover, tough on the new boyfriend, kind of guy. He takes an immediate disliking to Focker, who tries very hard to obtain his approval. Through a series of hilarious mishaps and laughter, he tries to show that he can fit in with Pam’s family and that he wants nothing but the best for Pam. Nothing can go right for Focker the entire time he is at Pam’s parents house. As hard as he tries, Focker cannot get anything right. Can love concur all? Guess you’ll have to see this movie to find out.
