This time with one of my favorite Hollywood Actresses: Meg Ryan.
What I like About Her :
Her Hairstyle.
Simplicity.
She looks best when she does some sentimental roles. (Remember Proof of Life? Kate and Leopold?)
About Her :
She was born in Connecticut USA. Earlier she was called Peggy than changed her name to Meg. She learned Journalism from the University of Connecticut but dropped and did some acting courses. She worked in some TV soaps before finally being offered a full-fledged movie. She came to notice with her role in ’’Top Gun’’ and later on acclaimed for ’’When Harry Met Sally’’.
Although I am yet to see her most of the films, but I like her most amongst the following movies which I have seen so many times, yet I watch them again and again whenever I have time.
Her movies I like most are :
When Harry Met Sally : One of the best movies of Billy Crystal and Meg looks damn beautiful in this movie.
Sleepless in Seattle : I think this is the best movie till date (My personal choice) this movie revolves around the Old Time Hit ’’An Affair To Remember’’ but really a wonderful movie to watch - specially if watch it with your Wife/Girl Friend, or may be a good choice to watch on a valentines day.
You’ve got mail : one of the best performances by Meg. Tom and Meg are business rivals, they do hate each other but they do fall in love with each other without knowing the true identities, good watch.
Kate and Leopold : Its a romantic comedy, where in Meg (Kate) fells in love with Hugh (Leopold) - but Leopold is from the year 1870 and he has to go back in time to get married after he fells in love with Kate in the 21st century. It is one Hilarious Movie. I am sure to have a good time watching this movie any given day.
Proof of Life : Peter (David Morse) gets kidnapped, Alice (Meg) his wife tries to get him back with the help of a negotiator Terry (Russell Crowe) - in the negotiations and with the time passing by Meg and Russell fell for each other. Good performances by all three but somehow the end was not convincing (Not to me at least).
Courage Under Fire : Nice performances by Denzel Washington, Meg Ryan and Lou Diamond. This is about awarding a Woman Captain (Meg) with Medal of Honor (Posthumous Medal) later on - in enquiry and after digging a lot Washington comes to know of the facts and the truth is revealed....
