The latest incident with Mega Cabs.
On 20th Jan 2016, I made a 4th mistake(and I promise the absolute last) of booking a Mega Cab for a pickup from Residency Road to my residence at HSR Layout. I was assigned cab no. KA-50-6543, Chauffeur Shaik Khutubuddin(Cell No.: 990132xxxx., vide booking ID CB462022. There was no response from the driver, and when I called him up he said that he is on a PERSONAL DUTY, and that the call center has made a mistake, and he cut the call. When I called him up again, he spoke rudely, and even used expletives, with a threat of coming down to my pickup place and thrashing me if I called him again. This is the 4th time I have had a bitter experience with MEGA CABS. Mega Cabs on the other hand has also deducted the 85 Rs as trip fare - SHAMELESS THUGS that they are! When I told the driver that I would be reporting this incident, he told me that he did not care one bit for my actions, and goes on to tell me how he would file a case of harassment against me if I called him up again. I would like Mega Cabs to refund my money, and would also like to know what action has been initiated and taken against this rude and arrogant driver of theirs, and would also like to know how Mega Cabs would compensate me for this mental harassment meted out 4 times in a row.
this is one company that can never ever improve.they rather shut shop, go home and hatch eggs. I would rather prefer paying 4x fare to Uber.atleast the drivers are courteous, and they respond. I have also uninstalled the Mega Cabs app from my phone, and would urge others to do the same as well. these guys DO NOT deserve our hard earned money.

On Tuesday 3rd November 2015, I had booked a cab from my workplace located on Residency Rd near Ritz Carlton Hotel to my residence at HSR Layout. I was assigned Cab No: KA-50-6708 [Booking Ref. No.: CB394561] . Upon calling up the Chauffeur Mr. Kanakaraj R, we were informed that his vehicle has developed a problem with the shock absorber, and that it would take 1 hour to reach the pick up point. So I cancelled that booking, and then made another booking, during which I was assigned Cab No: KA-50-6705 [Booking Ref. No.: CB394592] . Upon calling up the Chauffeur whose name I fortunately lost as I accidently deleted the SMS, informed us that he was at banashankari Bridge and was off duty, and as a result would not pick us up. He however offered his Cab’s Service to us on a personal front at a premium price of Rs. 1500, and made it look as though he was doing us a favour in coming and picking us up.
I would personally NOT RECOMMEND MEGA CABS TO ANYONE. Either the drivers are way too lazy or are just out to make extra money. In any which case, considering that Mega Cabs had no idea about the whereabouts of their drivers, and had ended up assigning them to customers, only show the level of professionalism that Mega Cabs exhibit.

After the fiasco with Mega Cabs on Tuesday 3rd November 2015, I decided to give Mega Cabs one for chance, and this time I faced 3 rejections after cabs were assigned, and to top it off, Mega Cabs haev even deducted Rs. 85 from my Paytm Wallet for services that I have not used!
I had again booked a cab from my workplace located on Residency Rd near Ritz Carlton Hotel to my residence at HSR Layout.
Incident 1.
I was assigned Cab No.: KA-50-6616, [Booking Ref. No.: CB396938] . Upon calling up the Chauffeur Mr. Basappa Y Redderatty, he told me that he does not want to ply, and that at all if I wish to use his cab, I have to pay him his personal fare, and not as per Mega Cabs. Then upon asking the rate, he told me tha tit would be Rs. 1500. When I told him about complaining to Mega Cabs, he told me to do what I wished, and that he does not care for any consequences. So I cancelled this cab.
Incident 2
Then I made another booking, during which I was assigned Cab No: KA-50-6705 [Booking Ref. No.: CB396951] . Upon calling up the Chauffeur whose name I fortunately lost as I accidently deleted the SMS, informed us that he was not willing to come right now, and that if we want we can complaint, cancel or wait for an hour atleast for him to come to us. As usual I cancelled this cab too
Incident 3
Since we had no other alternative, with Ola Cabs being way to expensive at a ridiculous 4.x fares for no reason, I made one last booking, [Booking Ref. No.: CB396947]. Upon calling up the Chauffeur whose name I fortunately lost as I accidently deleted the SMS, informed us that he was not willing to come since I had selected Paytm wallet as a mode of payment. He said he will speak to the Call Center and let me know. I told him to straightway cancel the cab. He then called up and said that if we wanted to ride with him, we should pay him cash and not via Paytm wallet, and that if we want we can complaint, or cancel the cab. On this transaction, Mega Cabs has deducted 84.48 Rupees from my Paytm wallet, for services that were not used. When I called up Mega Cabs, I was informed that they would not be refunding my money, as according to their system, I had made us of their services.
