Mega Mart is the worst place that you can buy anything especially clothes. They always have some unbelievable offer like buy 1 get 2 free etc. Please do not fall for this. I recently bought some pants and shirts from them after trying in the store. Ater the first wash, all changed shape and colour with rampant shrinkage. On taking it back to them, the executive at the returns counter told us quietly that most clothes have some or the other complaint. He also said that the manager has been instructed to refuse returns and exchanges ’for the first few’ times, but if the customer persists, then he can accept them!
I persisted and got the worst items exchanged. The rest of the items they said there is no problem so they cannot take them back. A loss of Rs.6000/-
I have realized now that they source only rejected seconds, and possibly used clothes from a well set up network of vendors. They safeguard themselves legally as they can prove that its ’first’ hand from the vendor who they bought it from. What we must realize it that the vendors are the key - they supply only predetermined seconds, second hand and rejected materials from all brands. Maybe also a few fakes. This is their business model which allows them to sell so cheap.
Please avoid them like the plague and spend your hard earned money in a reputed brand showroom.
