This place is some sort of an hi-tech entertainment complex housing bowling alleys, skiing rink, video arcades etc. This is an absolutely great place to freak out and have fun, and suits perfectly well for all the age groups and is situated on airport’s exit road. The main attraction of this place is however the 8 lane bowling alley, apart from this, a good lounging place what may be termed as a restaurant cum pub (this word has a different meaning in B’lore), but not exactly in the same context though, but a pretty jazzy, peppy, lively, charged up place with some good lively music ’n nice place to sit, chat and sip chilled beer or coke, and do try out crispy ’’Corn on Toast’’ after a challenging round of bowling.
Bowling is a new sport and definitely not a game I fancied to try out for long, but now has become a regular Sunday afternoon passion. Only thing it takes to hook up to this game is just one roll down the lane and someone to pull ur leg as to what a pretty ugly aim u ’ve. If u manage to knock down all the pins in ur very first game then its sure that u r hooked onto this game for life, but anyway it never happens, and takes some time to settle down for a decent score, but dont feel embrassed, there r always someone in ur neighbouring lane to share ur embrassment. Anyway a simple, relaxing, addictive sport, and a perfect outing with a group of friends or with one’s family. And eventhough there r many bowling alleys in B’lore none can be compared to this place, bcoz of its spacious and trendy ambience.
The bowling rates for a game is Rs 120 over weekends, and varies on other days around 90 bucks with discounts for students and with the extended concepts of happy hours and so on.A few months ago there was concept theme evenings with discounts for Software nerds on Mondays, bankers on tue, and so on. This place is invariably crowded over weekends, and ’ve to wait for long time to get a lane to try out, but no regrets with so much action around, but if u want a quite calm time, try it out in the afternoons.
The other section is the video game arcade for kids, (not necessarily though), based on the concepts of virtual reality, and games like alpine racers, formula bike racing, cybercycling and so on. Also present is bumber cars ’n pool tables, a game which always embrasses me whenever I give it a try.All in all , bowling is just an excuse and more of a good place to chill out with ur friends over weekends.
