Found this place by accident when we (me + my brother) craving to eat some North Indian food after being fed up of eating dosa & Idly regularly at the Adiga restaurant on Bannerghatta Road (my mother was admitted in Wockhardt hospital which is when I was forced to eat out regularly while I was attending her). This is located on the second floor, nearby Arekere gate on Bannerghatta road serving mainly North Indian & Chinese food. The ambience is pretty decent and tastefully done; the waiter was more than helpful in suggesting their specialties.
Going by his word, we started with Palak Shorba & Murg Lasooni Tikka. The shorba was too good, aromatic & spicy, woke up my appetite in a big way and soon the tikka arrived. The chicken was very soft & juicy, very well marinated I presume and indeed very tasty. For the main course, we again went by the waiter’s suggestion of Murg Bhuna and Naan. Had a wait a little while for the Bhuna but it did not disappoint us. The portion was quite wholesome, chicken very soft and well roasted but a little spicy and the naan was quite soft as well. That left us totally satiated and there was no room for any dessert. The Kebabs seem to be a specialty out here (as per the waiter) but I could not try this out.
For the price and the quantity, most of the items (side dish) in the menu seem to be aptly priced; b/w 110-150Rs and I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a decent North Indian food at a reasonable price.
