I have read a few members reviews on Mein Kampf that was dictated to Rudolph Hess by Adolf Hitler while he was in prison and at a small hotel in Berchtesgaden. It took two years to complete the book and it was finished in 1924. The publisher was I.Band.
I would never buy this trash I went to the library to read it.
The title was change because Hitler was convinced by his publisher that his title, (Four and a Half Years of Struggle against Lies, Stupidity and Cowardice), was too long.
There is a from Landsberb Am Lech who was at Fortress Prison that continues with Volume One called A Reckoning, Volume Two called The National Socialist Movement and a conclusion.
My Review
Hitler decided that all people were not alike and divided them in to categories. The best people had blond hair, blue eyes and light skin. These people were called the Aryans.
The other people were called racially inferior, (Untermenschen). These were people who were physically handicapped, mentally ill, Gypsies, anyone who didnt have light skin, Czechs, Jews, Polish and Russian people.
He says, All the human culture, all the results of art, science, and technology that we see before us today, are almost exclusively the creative product of the Aryan. Therefore it is no accident that the first cultures arose in places where the Aryan, in his encounters with lower peoples, subjugated them and bent them to his will. They then became the first technical instrument in the service of a developing culture.
Throughout Mein Kampf, Hitler refers to Jews as controlling the media, banks, are parasites, liars, dirty, crafty, sly, wily, clever, without any true culture, a sponger, a middleman, a maggot, eternal blood suckers, repulsive, unscrupulous, monsters, foreign, menace, bloodthirsty, avaricious, the destroyer of Aryan humanity and the mortal enemy of the Aryan people.
when he became Chancellor of Germany he tested his plan by having the German people get use to what he was going to do by taking the retarded and mentally ill people to a few Concentration Camps.
When they got use to murdering them he started rounding up other non-Aryans.
My Thoughts
The book was hard to read not only because of the content but because the paper was the lowest grade you could buy, (like older comic books).
This was the outline of Hitler’s plan for what would happen in WW II.
I often wonder why he took a Hindu symbol and rotated it to make the Swastika because he didnt like people who lived in Asia, (except the Japanese).
This book is the Ramblings of a mad man. Sadly most of his plans came true.
11 million people were slaughtered in his death camps, (5 million were Jewish). G-d only knows how many were killed or injured by people who fought in WW II or lived in the places his military took.
My Final Thoughts
Although Hitler burned books he didnt like I dont believe in banning books but I hope you wont read it.
I dont want to give this a one star but I guess I have to.
Thanks for reading by review.
