A trip to Southern Hemisphere!

My Description about the trip

I am going to write on a scintillating trip to Melbourne, a major city of Australia. Wow...what a wonderful city it is! With all the modern amenities and facilities, Melbourne is one of the topmost city in Australia. Situated along the Southern Hemisphere and on the Eastern coast of Australia, it is often called the city of living.

My Exact Travel Time of the Year

My trip started in Feb 2003 on a Business visa. Due to some intra-company work, I was given an opportunity of visiting our counterpart office in Melbourne. After transiting via Hong Kong, I landed in Australia on a cloudy and cold morning. What a view from the aircraft! So amazing, I couldn’t even resist getting down. After landing down I took a cab and went down to the guest house which was located away from the city. I can see a glimpse of skyscrappers of the CBD. I still smell that fresh coffee I use to have sitting on a cafe on the banks of Yarra river.

My Likes or Dislikes about the trip

Truly speaking I love that unforgettable trip. Melbourne is a best place to live. Its a city where night life rocks! A royal victorian city. Plush green gardens everywhere...Thats what I love abt Melboure’s city and Suburbs. Everywhere there are gardens, parks. I had a tour outside of Melbourne too. Went to Horsham(its a place 2 hrs out of Melboure). What a view of Highway. On the way I tasted Wine. Thats what Melboure is famous all about. If I tell you everything about Melbourne city, then the words wont last. There’s a balance between work and social life there. Its a most liveable city in the world.

From Monday thru Friday they work like anything..come friday night and they blast out...Pubs, bars, disc...Uncountable places to visit. Also theres a famous melboure Aquarium thats around Swanson st. Largest and most unknown collection of fishes around the globe.

I loved to travel in the trains of Melboure..Flinders Street station is the hub of all ...we can say..The local train service company is M>Track...Trains are like jets...They run on an excellent speed and keep the passengers well informed about the stations and minutes-to-travel.

As I said I am a coffee lover(love everything except Irish!)...I prefer coffee sitting on an outside cafe or along the banks of river Yarra. Melbourne is a place where you get thousand’s of varieties of coffee. Night life is extremely sounding! You have the option of disc, pubs and what not! But beware of drunk people as they might harm you. I wont indulge myself too much in such type of drinking...

Monday thru Saturdays...life is fast in Melbourne. But as evening falls...everything seems to quiet. you wont believe, when I use to visit my relatives, I would be the only one going at 10:00PM night in the bus! Its unbelieavable for people of India. But they have their own household duties and lot of things to work out before they go to work next day.

I would prefer to stay for a longer time in Melbourne! I would prefer to sightsee all the around places of Melbourne which I haven’t done so in my last trip. Milwaukee is the place where I would like to be since its full of snow during peak winter times. Also I would like to go to GoldCoast in Brisbane. Its an amazing beach with full of sunshine, cool aussie girls and golden Sun Rays.

Australia is a great place to study, work and live. I would suggest students to take a chance and study in Australia. The degree earned over there is widely recognized and after 2 years of study they can get PR. So legally they can stay in Australia forever. Students can work as well as study. So that makes them tough and learn a lot from life! Weather of Australia is beautiful. I can say its a heaven in which I would surely like to live). Even the trip is recommended for married couples. Old people who can find peace there.
