'Cool' place in Mysore!

Wax museum is about 1 to 1 and a half kilometers from Mysore zoo and is a wonderful place. You will hardly take 2-3 hours if you see everything in detail in this museum though it is a nice place to  visit. These days, wax sculptures are common and are found in many places, but this place has a lot to tell you about music and that is why it is named as ‘Melody world’.

There are statues of the famous people which looks so real and alive. They have made the models of tribes of India using musical instruments,  band of musicians, different types of musical instruments from all over the world. I’m not such great fan of music though I just listen to songs, you get to know so much about different instruments here.

It is a fun place as well as informative. The art work here is very beautiful, but the maintenance is very bad, if they maintain it well, it will look better.

The place is very cool as everything here is made of wax and if you are going around in Mysore on a sunny day, you will like this place even if you are not interested to look around and read about the instruments and the information written over there.

I wish government looks into this place and maintains properly as it can also be a major tourist attraction. They say it is the first wax museum with music instruments in the world!

At the end of the museum, you’ll find a candle store where you find candles of all sizes and shapes at a reasonable price and some are really beautifully moulded.

If you happen to visit Mysore, I would suggest you to look into this place for sure.
