“ Aliens are they…”
Hollywood has been giving some absurd movies like the Evolution and some Alien Craps like Starship Troopers. MIB when first came, it became instant success with amazing comic timing from Will Smith and the poker face Tommy Lee Jones. MIB is probably one of the best funny alien movies in the recent times.
Instance of MIB – I
The best part of the first part of MIB was the Dog, because there is one instance in that movie where Will Smith gets down from his car and looks at weird looking mask and a dog besides it, he passes a comment that “It’s the worst disguise ever seen” for this the dog responds, “if you feel like that then you can kiss my fiery b**” . There are many such instances in this movie that it will make you laugh.
Hence, I thought I would call Frank (Dog) in the studio to talk about his latest movie MIB – 2 sharing his part with the likes of Will Smith and Tommy Lee and his experience working with them.
Please welcome, Frank (Dog) to the Studio for the Show, MIB – 2 a preview.
Asyis: Hi Frank, how are you.
Frank: Hey, Asyis, you called me in the wrong time, actually was just signing up with Steven Spielberg for his next movie, Majority Report.
Asyis: Wow!! Steven Spielberg. What is that movie all about?
Frank: (Gives me a weird look!!) Asyis, you really have gone out of your mind to ask about Steven Spielberg’s movie, does it have anything to share. But still, it’s about me, acting as the Detective with Mr Tinkle (Cats & Dogs fame) as the sidekick on the hunt for good human actors to act as the main hero.
Asyis: Frank, nothing offensive, but tell me how did you get this movie.
Frank: Asyis, if you had seen the movie MIB-2 you would not have asked this question.
Asyis: Fine, Frank, let me ask you about MIB-2. What is it all about and what are they talking about Frank and his sense of Humor.
Frank: I am not boasting, but you have to watch this movie only for me. But still for the viewers, let me give you a brief about this movie.
The People Behind MIB-2
The movie directed by Barry Sonnenfeld is a sequel, to MIB and it involves with Alien invasion and the protector of the earth who fight these Aliens, the Men In Black. Like the previous version, this movie stars Tommy Lee Jones(Agent Kay) and Will Smith(Agent Jay), with yours truly Frank(Dog) playing a major role in this movie.
The Story…
This time around Agent Jay is with out a partner as his earlier partner has gone back to the Morgue as she likes the work better and now he is without partner. Agent Jay has got a new partner, Frank (dog) who likes to talk more than do anything. In the mean time, the earth is attacked by an hot & sexy lady Alien Serleena(Lara Flynn Boyle) who is looking for the light, which no one knows, except for Agent Kay. Agent Kay has already left the job of MIB long time back and is working as the Post Office Master. Agent Jay’s first job is get back Agent Kay and bring his memory back. But Agent Kay’s memory can be bought back only by a de-neutralizer which they have to find out because the entire MIB’s office has been captured by this Hot Alien Chick. Some how, through internet (E-bay) they find out about the Neutralizer and get Agent Kay’s memory back.
Now, when you know that Agent Kay’s memory is back, (I am thrown out in the corner.. Frank is Sad!!!) He has to find out the Light for which these Aliens have invaded the earth and if it is not found out and sent back, then the entire earth will be perished by its mass destruction. In the midst of all this, the only witness Rita (Rosario Dawson)who had seen the alien’s killing her boss, is the new love interest for our Agent Jay. Also, Rita is the only person who has got the secret locket, which Agent Kay is looking for. Then what starts a hara-carry of events in which Rita is being captured and how Agent Kay and Jay free her from the evil hands of Serleena.
Asyis: But, Frank, tell me about the Sense of Humor about this movie, which MIB- I was most famous for.
Frank: You know Asyis, like in the first movie where Tommy Lee with his Dry sense of Humor and Will Smith played a very important role, in this movie, it doesn’t exist but on certain occasion I feel that Tommy Lee wins over Will Smith.
Asyis: But Frank, I loved your role in the first and in this movie too.
Frank: (Blushing and Smiling!!) Thanks Asyis, tell me why do you think, Steven Spielberg had to sign me instead of Tom Cruise or some big stars. This movie has really shown how talented I am, and what human’s can’t do, we dogs can do.
Behind the Studio, there is a song being played, “Who let the Dogs out…”

Asyis’s Verdict…
This movie really leaves a sorry impression of the earlier MIB. It can never come even close to the last movie. The sense of humor is not that great just for tits and bits of comedy. The only reason you should watch the movie is for Frank (Dog), other wise this movie can be a complete leftover. You can see the same old gadgets as in the last movie, and same old, sticky bloods of the alien;-) and weird looking aliens in different size and shapes. Tommy Lee has become old but he still has some good dry sense of humor, his typical poker face comedy will make you laugh at many occasions. Will smith after Ali really needs some good movie, his comic timings has not been that good, but I wouldn’t blame him, it’s the dialogue writer has not given him good dialogue. One could have expected more from Will Smith, with his amazing comic timings.

Don’t go to the theatre expecting much, just go there and enjoy the movie.
