My photos delivered to your house - by MeraSnap

Have you personally or anyone that you know of been caught up in a flight that was cancelled due to “technical snags” in the aircraft? What you realize is that the strength of the airline lies not in handling passengers when things run as per plan but being able to smoothly cope or how responsive they are when operations are derailed by “unforeseen circumstances”. The same applies to all organizations in the service industry – but more so to those who are in the business of selling stuff over the internet.

So the first thing I recall about merasnap.com is how they have responded when things have gone wrong. The site once allowed me to complete an order(and therefore charged me delivery charges) when the shopping cart was empty. In another occasion I was not happy with the paper used to print the photographs. What impressed me was the way they responded to my email appeals for help. In both the occasions they were prompt to take corrective action that has left me a satisfied customer.

The main reason I turned to merasnap.com was because I was looking for a service provider who would deliver photographs to Indian destinations and had rates in Indian Rupees. Yahoo! or most other sites deliver in India but their rates are in US dollars.

You need to be careful while on the site – it is not too intuitive and you can land up in tricky situations.  You should also watch out for the size of the digital photos that you are uploading. Try limiting each photo to under 2 MB in file size.

But with all these riders I would say it is good to have a service running in, by and for India. Do give it a try.
