Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai is a very sweet film of Yash Raj and directed by Sanjay Gadhvi.
It is a movie about two cute love birds Anjali (Sanjana)and Sanjay (Uday Chopra) who were childhood friends and never want to love without each other. But their life takes them to different path. Sanju leaves Dehradun selling his house.
One day Anju calls Sanju and tells him that she is getting married and this news brings shock in Sanju and he relealise how much he loves Anju and decided to go and stop the wedding with his friend Rai (Bipasha Basu).
He is welcomes as a family and steals everyone heart. But his magic disappear when the real gentleman Anju’s life partner come in Rohit (Jimmy Shergill). But Sanju did not accept his defeat. He still tried his ways like creating fights amoung fights and arranging bachelor party for Rohit. Though his plan worked and Rohit was caught in the act but this made Rohit aware of Sanju’s plan.
Rohit and Sanju challenged face to face that whoever wins Anuju’s heart will marry her? Who will marry whom? For that u have to attend my best friend’s marriage :-)
Uday as usual is sweet and naughty. He has acted those funny scene very nicely. He is also good singer, he should try that too.
The new girl Sanjana is good also, she has done a good job.
She is cute and good in all scenes.
Jimmy is too good, he is The Perfect gentle man type. Hope we will see more of Jimmy in future. Just a good role like this should come.
All the songs are very good like the title track, ’Resham Si Hain Ye’, ’Sharara Sharara’ and the dialog is also good.
Though this movie will remind you of the ENGLISH movie
’’MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING’’, but soon u will know this movie is not english copy.
