I have been in data reporting for about 2 years. I realised if I did not pick up data engineering skills, I would get stuck at the same level. Meritshots Data Engineering program helped me understand tools Id only heard about, like Spark and Airflow.
I wont say its super easy you need time to follow along, especially if you are new to coding. But the mini-projects make it practical. Im now working on automating a few tasks at work using what I learned. Its a start, and thats why Id say it was worth it for me
