Many said first half was quite lengthy but the second was engaging once the thalapathy vijay came. but my opinion was different after I watched the movie. I really enjoyed the first half, the main reason was vijay’s superb performance when it comes to action, comedy, romance and also his cute reactions in some scenes. Many comedians were came and went in first half, but Vadivelu and yogibabu timing dialogues were awesome. Mersal arasan and macho songs will be visual treat when you see those in theater. In the second half as well, Vijay shines in thalapathy character, but we can be able to predit exactly what would happen next, so the engaging factor is missing in second half. The movie could have come as one of the greatest movies, if Atlee could have reduced length of the flashback portion. but still the movie does not fail to entertain the audience, especially family audience. Over all, it is a well packed commercial entertainer. If you are a thalapathy fan, A must watch movie especially for Vijay’s super performance throughout the movie.
